WINES

Chateau Cantenac Brown 1982

Cantenac Brown's wines are renown for their powerful bouquet, and their elegance and finesse. Their vigorous, rich character reveals Margaux's characteristic flavours, and the delightful qualities typical of Saint Juliens.

Siglo Gran Reserva 2001

Tasting Notes: Great Rioja wine, full bodied, medium plus acidity and high tannins. Fresh fruit flavours are mostly gone, it show notes of plum, cooked fruit, leather, prune, tobacco, clove, pepper, dust, meat and raisins, with long finish. Vintage Report: Hot, dry weather gave ripe wines with opulent flavors and powerful structure.

Camus Grand Cru Charmes Chambertin 2015

Domaine Camus has very beautiful parcels of land in the village of Gevrey in particular, with the premier cru Lavaux Saint-Jacques, and grand crus, Mazis, Charmes and Chambertin. The domaine’s wines are powerful and require a few years aging to reveal their full potential. The Camus Charmes Chambertin is powerful, concentrated and distinguished.

Damilano Barolo Cannubi 2016 - WA 97 points

“The Damilano 2016 Barolo Cannubi shows depth and a profound nature. This is the DNA of the Cannubi cru, maybe the most celebrated in the appellation with mildly compact, well-draining sandy soils (actually, a mix of 45% sand, 35% silt and 20% clay, to be precise). These conditions contribute to the dark concentration and the firm textural support found here. These assets are particularly apparent in this classic vintage. Dark fruit and dried cherry cede to earthy truffle and licorice. Of these various single-vineyard expressions, the tight tannins on this Cannubi definitely suggest a long drinking window. This wine is my favorite in this flight from Damilano, and this vintage of 40,000 bottles is distinguished by its sheer excellence.” -Wine Advocate

Domaine Raymond Usseglio & Fils Chateauneuf-du-Pape Cuvee Imperiale 2018- WA97+ points

”Most of the vInes for the 2018 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Imperiale were planted in 1902, mainly Grenache, with a few other scattered plants of other varieties. Full-bodied and concentrated, it boasts massive flavors of raspberries and cherries, with just enough herbal intricacies woven into the fabric of the wine to impart a sense of lightness and freshness—it positively tingles on the long, long finish. Produced from biodynamically grown fruit at yields just half the maximum permitted by the appellation (16–18 hectoliters per hectare, versus 35), it's a tremendous effort. The 2018 Cuvée Imperiale is one of the top wines of the vintage…” -Wine Advocate
