2010 Bin Ends Night

Once again,
we will hold this annual event
at The Tanglin Club (Raffles
Room) in view of the positive
feed back from members in
the past. A wide range of
both white & red wines
will be available for members
to try and the emphasis will
be on the 2000 vintage of
Bordeaux. Some of the red
wines from the vintage will
be:-
Grand Puy Lacoste
Cantemerle
D'Armailhac
Grand Corbin
Potensac
Marjosse
There will also be some exciting
whites, including:-
2007 - Gaja Ross Bassj Langhe
1999 Devil's Lair Chardonnay
2000 Coldstream Hills Reserve
Chardonnay
And some "stickies"
such as:-
1986 - Ch Guiraud
1997 - Ch Les Justices
N/V - Burge Sweet White
N/V - Burge Very Old Tawny

OTHER ATTRACTIONS:-
1. Two wine merchants have
been invited to conduct tasting
of their wines.
2. An Auction will be held
of some REALLY special wines
from our cellar – 1986
Cheval Blanc & 1994 Ch
Margaux will be included.
We have prepared more than
40 bottles of wines to be
available for tasting on this
evening (not taking into account
of the wines to be provided
by the two wine merchants),
which will also feature a
wide range of finger foods
and a light buffet prepared
by the Club's chef.
In order to get as many members
to attend as possible, and
in particular, to encourage
you to bring guests who might
want to join the Society,
on this occasion, we have
decided to - modestly - subsidise
the event for your benefit
- and thus it will cost only
$98 per member and $110 per
guest to attend what promises
to be a very interesting and
enjoyable evening.
