The International Wine and Food Society of Singapore will be holding its 60th AGM at restaurant Quenino at Artyzen Hotel on Wednesday 19 March 2025. The AGM will be conducted at 6.30pm and dinner will follow at 7.30pm. Kindly note that Financial Statement and Minutes AGM 2024 will be sent in a follow up email.
My thanks to all members for your kind support in attending the society events organized in the past year. I look forward to your attendance at the AGM and at the dinner following the AGM.
After attending an event at Quenino recently, I was so impressed with the fine food and great ambience that we have decided to hold the upcoming AGM Dinner at this beautiful venue.
Quenino by Victor Liong is helmed by acclaimed chef Victor Liong from Melbourne as well as Singaporean chef de cuisine, Sujatha Asokan. The degustation menu-only restaurant is a celebration of Asia’s culinary diversity, playfully serving up contemporary twists from across Asia while paying homage to their roots.
Victor’s Melbourne restaurant, Lee Ho Fook, is renowned for its modern Chinese cuisine and has earned numerous accolades, including The Age Good Food Guide Two Hat Award for 2023-2024 and annual recognition in the World’s 50 Best Discovery from 2019 to 2023.
In 2019, Chef Sujatha was named "Rising Chef of the Year" by the World Gourmet Summit, which led to a two-week stage at the renowned Mugaritz in Spain, where she further refined her contemporary cuisine skills.
We have decided on an all Burgundy event and all wines are from our Society’s fine cellars. Indeed we can look forward to drinking the Vincent Girardin Echezeaux Grand cru 2006.
