Dear members
We have lined up 2 pairs of 97’s and 98’s French Reds for this year’s National Day Dinner. We begin our first course with a Pierre Paillard 2007 Blanc de Noirs, Acte 1 "Les Maillerettes” followed by Leon Bayer 2007 Riesling Comtes d'Eguisheim for the second course. For the third course, we will be serving Chateau La Couspaude 1998 and Chateau Grand Pontet 1998. As we move onto the entrees, the 1997’s will feature Chateau Ducru Beaucaillou and Chateau Lafite Rothschild. And to round off, our dessert will be accompanied by a 1988 Chateau Rabaud-Promis.
Four Seasons has once again presented us with a menu of excellent and fresh produce to complement our wines. Italian Executive Chef, Giovanni Speciale brings with him more than two decades of expertise honed across extensive experience in Four Seasons properties in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
We will be looking to raise funds for the Autism Resource Center (Singapore) specifically for the ARC(S) E2C program This program aims to equip adults with autism with employability skills. Through training, we can help place them in suitable jobs with the appropriate job support. This program launched in 2012 has successfully trained and placed more than 100 clients in open and customized employment.
With the generous support of our members, I hope we can have another very successful charity auction.
