Dear members,

In the current era of heightened alert ( yet again!) and in the absence of travel, I am pleased to bring to you a zoom tutored wine tasting exploring some of the finest wines of Piedmont and Tuscany.

Italian wines have experienced growing worldwide interest, with Italy seeing the largest gains in the 2020 Liv-ex Power 100 and the wines of Angelo Gaja moving up 31 places to 3rd place. We are fortunate to be able to draw upon the society's extensive cellar which includes Italian wines purchased before the recent uptick in prices. The tasting, which will explore the differences between the wines of Piedmont and Tuscany will be led by Gerald Lu, two-time National Sommelier Champion . A dinner featuring both Tuscan and Piedmontese cuisine has been prepared by Praelum wine bistro to match the wines.

Only 32 places are available.Members have 48 hours priority booking. Do book early and make payment by the latest 6 August to enable us to make the necessary arrangements .

How to book

1. Reply to this email stating who will be attending and the number of sets required

2. Please let us know the address the sets are to be delivered to . If the law permits, members may wish to form their own groups and get the sets delivered to a single address.

3. Make payment via paynow, QR attached.
